3. Photography, Video & Student Content

By enrolling in any Beit Barsoum course, workshop, or event, students and guests agree to the following:


  • Beit Barsoum reserves the right to photograph and film students and guests during courses, workshops, and events.

  • These photographs and videos may be used for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes across all channels, including but not limited to: the Beit Barsoum website, Instagram, social media, printed materials, press, and advertising.

  • Students or guests who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify Beit Barsoum in writing before the session begins by emailing hello@beitbarsoum.com.

  • Work produced by students during courses — jewelry pieces, sketches, renderings, and designs — remains the property of the student. However, Beit Barsoum reserves the right to photograph this work and use it for promotional purposes.


4. Limitation of Liability

Beit Barsoum takes all reasonable care to ensure the accuracy and quality of information provided on this website and in its courses. However, to the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, Beit Barsoum accepts no liability for:


  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in website content

  • Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the website or its services

  • Any loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this website

  • Any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during a course or event that results from a failure to follow safety instructions provided by Beit Barsoum

  • Any loss or damage to personal property brought onto Beit Barsoum premises


Students and guests attend all courses, workshops, and events at their own risk and are responsible for following all health and safety guidance provided by the instructor at the beginning of each session.


5. Health & Safety

Jewelry making involves the use of tools, heat, chemicals, and machinery that can cause injury if misused. By enrolling in any Beit Barsoum course or event, students and guests agree to:


  • Follow all health and safety instructions provided by the instructor

  • Wear appropriate protective equipment as directed

  • Not use any tools or equipment without prior instruction

  • Inform the instructor of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their ability to participate safely

  • Accept full personal responsibility for any injury or damage resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines


Beit Barsoum reserves the right to remove any student or guest from a session if their behavior poses a risk to themselves or others, without refund.


6. Returns & Cancellation Policy

Jewelry Products

All jewelry sold by Beit Barsoum is made to order and handcrafted specifically for each customer. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once an order has been placed and confirmed.


If your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@beitbarsoum.com with photographs of the defect. We will remake or exchange the piece at no additional cost to you.


Courses & Workshops

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the course or event start date will receive a full credit redeemable against any future Beit Barsoum course or event. Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.


Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date, or failure to attend without prior notice, are non-refundable and no credit will be issued.


Beit Barsoum reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course or event due to circumstances outside its control, including but not limited to instructor illness, force majeure, or insufficient enrolment. In such cases, students will be offered a full credit or an alternative date.


7. Privacy & Personal Data

Beit Barsoum collects personal data including name, email address, and phone number when a customer places an order or enrols in a course. This data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders, managing enrolments, and communicating with customers about their bookings.


Beit Barsoum does not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties except where required to process payments through PayMob or to comply with Egyptian law.


Customers who have subscribed to email communications may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@beitbarsoum.com.


To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, please contact hello@beitbarsoum.com.
