The Earrings Workshop

Time: 6pm till 9pm

This is your first real taste of the bench. You will sit at a working jeweler's bench, pick up proper tools, and make a matched pair of earrings from raw metal to finished piece. There is no watching from the side. Everything you leave with, you made.

• Sawing and shaping metal
• Filing and refining your edges
• Making a matched pair with balance and symmetry
• Texturing and surface finishing
• Drilling and fitting the findings so they are ready to wear
• Polishing to a professional finish

Materials: All courses are taught in brass or copper, you choose on the day. Students who wish to work in sterling silver may do so. Silver is available to purchase by weight on the day.
