Beit Barsoum Program
For those who want to open their own jewelry brand but don't know where to start.
The program is taught by Robeir Barsoum, a third generation goldsmith, in our studio in Cairo. The family has worked in gold since 1942.
You will learn jewelry making, jewelry design, and the business of jewelry.
No experience is needed. Every student arrives a complete beginner and is taught everything, from the first cut of the saw to the opening of their own brand.
The program runs over four semesters, each four months long. Classes are held four days a week, from 10am to 3pm. The bench, the tools, and all copper and brass are provided.
Each student leaves with a brand of their own, a first collection, and a live website, ready to sell.
Tuition is 55,000 EGP per semester.
The first cohort begins on Sunday 10 January 2027. There are eight places. Admission is by application, followed by a short conversation at the studio in November or December.
For those who work during the day, an evening diploma will open in October 2027. The same application places you on its list.
