Open Ring Workshop

A hands on introduction to traditional bench jewelry, where you create your own open ring using classic metalworking techniques that have been used for thousands of years.

At a professional jeweler’s bench, you will shape metal by hand from start to finish. Every step is guided, but the making is entirely yours, using real tools and traditional methods.

You will work through:

• Safe practice at the jeweler’s bench
• Measuring, cutting, and filing metal with precision
• Forming the ring on a mandrel
• Refining the open structure for balance and comfort
• Texturing and polishing to a finished surface

No soldering. No torch work. The focus is on control, hand skill, and material understanding.

No experience is needed. You will be guided step by step and leave with a finished ring made by your own hands.

Materials
Brass and copper are available in the workshop.
Sterling silver is available upon request. Please inform us before your session so preparation can be made. Silver is priced by weight.
